The Old-School Nicknames

I have been playing bingo for years now. The game is very entertaining and rewarding at the same time; my friends and I love to play hours of bingo sessions, aiming at available cash prizes and the grand jackpot while having a blast throughout the session. Recently, on one of the bingo session I played at local bingo hall, the caller mentioned something that brings me back to the good old days: bingo nicknames.

Most new bingo players don’t know about nicknames given to certain numbers, but experienced players will surely remember how these numbers are often called using their nicknames to add some more excitements to the game. I’m playing the usual 90 numbers bingo game, and many of the available numbers have special nicknames.

The term clickety-click is used to call out the number 66. Kind of funny, I must say, and it always comes with laughter when used. The Brighton line is for 58, while 22 gets the usual nickname of two little ducks. My personal favorite is two fat ladies used to call the number 88; I have a couple of friends with large figure and we always shouted “over here!” when the nickname is used.
